Moroccan Splendour

So today while  I was having a casual stroll through “the Bulls eye Boutique” (target). I stumbled across this tiny little trinket like box that was covered in pressed metal/tin with the most simple but beautiful pattern (wish id taken a snap). After going back to work for the following 6 hours I couldn’t help but constantly think of Morocco!

So after finishing work off home I toddled only to find that I couldn’t switch myself off at . So jumped on the google and went fossicking to see what I could find. Now I understand Moroccan style wouldn’t be suited to everyone and I doubt I would be able to get sleep with the intensity of the colours around me, but these rooms are stunningly beautiful!

I'm loving the intensity of the magenta in the cupboard. The burnt & blood oranges. The changing patterns and textures amongst the seating, floor pillows, cushions & assorted decorative touches.

The turquoise in the background makes the gold pop from the room.

Not so Moroccan but nice touches with the ottomans.

I love this bedroom :) having the exposed bricks add more of a urban touch to the room, while the bed, side table/chest and the other touches create that Moroccan mood. Give me a few candles, wine & some soft tunes and I'm there :D

I also love this last picture of all the lanterns. The colours look amazing and have more of a punch behind them when there is some illumination.
Thank you to all the people that made the pictures available for me, please contact me if they are your images & I'm more than happy to apply credit.
