Making an entrance!
Quick post: just while I'm sitting and relaxing rummaging around for new photos I found this beautiful entrance on which might have been http://frenchbydesign.blogspot.com/ .
Simple but stunning, rawness of the timber & grain, neutral colour scheme and splash of greener makes it come alive!
This would have to be one of my new favourite blogs to follow! So so many beautiful images that I have saved.

Rainy Saturdays
What else better to do after work on a saturday when its pouring down, cold and miserable?
I took myself off to Still water, slumped myself on the couch. Tall Latte' please :) Sat back and read a few pages of my favourite book ATM, Decorate (holly becker.
Fantastic book filled with inspiration and great for entertaining on a miserable day.

Retro Pop
Also while I'm thriving for bold colour statements at the moment! While I was on lunch relaxing at Fresh on Charles (top spot) :D reading real living one of my favourite mags.
I'd seen this couple had finished doing reno's and in the kitchen this bold smeg fridge jumped out off the page at me!
Exposed brickwall once again, always going to be one of my favourites & a clean crisp white wall :D
Moroccan Splendour
So today while I was having a casual stroll through “the Bulls eye Boutique” (target). I stumbled across this tiny little trinket like box that was covered in pressed metal/tin with the most simple but beautiful pattern (wish id taken a snap). After going back to work for the following 6 hours I couldn’t help but constantly think of Morocco !
So after finishing work off home I toddled only to find that I couldn’t switch myself off at . So jumped on the google and went fossicking to see what I could find. Now I understand Moroccan style wouldn’t be suited to everyone and I doubt I would be able to get sleep with the intensity of the colours around me, but these rooms are stunningly beautiful!
I'm loving the intensity of the magenta in the cupboard. The burnt & blood oranges. The changing patterns and textures amongst the seating, floor pillows, cushions & assorted decorative touches.
The turquoise in the background makes the gold pop from the room.
Not so Moroccan but nice touches with the ottomans.
I love this bedroom :) having the exposed bricks add more of a urban touch to the room, while the bed, side table/chest and the other touches create that Moroccan mood. Give me a few candles, wine & some soft tunes and I'm there :D
I also love this last picture of all the lanterns. The colours look amazing and have more of a punch behind them when there is some illumination.
Thank you to all the people that made the pictures available for me, please contact me if they are your images & I'm more than happy to apply credit.

Fitzroy Finds - Melbourne travels
So second post here we go!
A few months ago I ventured out to Melbourne insearch of a culture fix that I couldn't manage to retrieve from the well know apple isle.
While I was chatting away to one of my favourite clients(M), She's slightly eclectic which I love to bits! M told me to venture out to Fitzroy and go to Gertrude St. A slightly run down St. that runs the middle of Brunswick St. Oozing at the seams of energy and emerging talent.
My first thing on my list was a coffee fix because my peepers were starting to close slowly & I stumbled across a French Craperie. Which is on the corner of Gertrude & Brunswick. Talk about YUM! since I'm a sweet tooth from way back I decided to Tantalise my taste buds with Jaffa, & might I say! Real orange segments! well worth the wait I assure you.
I'm not going to bable too much but this one girl at a boutique told me that I had to do a circuit down Smith St. and around. Thankyou girlfriend because I found a treasure trobe of places from Vintag'he shops, Lighting shops to textiles! Okay thats it from me. Here are some happy snippets.
I would just like to say thankyou M for sending me that way because it made my trip. X

A favourite thing
So my first official post! wowzers!
Well after fighting with the computer and pulling my hair out while is was trying to edit my header etc for Tudor Avenida. I was trying to think of what I could upload for my first post. So many ideas. So after a day of thinking and still no resolution, one of my favourite photos came to mind taken from the trusty iphone :)
This little snap is from Bliss(my workplace) station 3. My favourite part of the salon. Theres nothing better than working away, chatting and being able to look out the window at green leaves, breeze and sun. Well that tops my first blog. Once I get my photos organised I can't start thinking of whats next. Exciting :D
Over and out.
